View Full Version : Painted the Sights on my CZ 75

Didn't like the pale green daytime color of the stock sights. The dots being as small as they are, they needed to be a little brighter for my eyes.

I painted the back dots with some flat white Testors model paint and the front dot a florescent red/orange.

This is just a temporary solution until I can get some fiber optic or tritium sights.
Not sure which ones I want yet. This is mostly a range gun, we already have another handgun with night sights so I'm leaning toward fiber optic.

I think it looks great. Trying to figure out how to post pics.

Have you try reversing it and put White color in front with Orange in the rear? It might just be me, but I think the White color would stand out more than the Orange. But I agree with you that the CZ green color sights are really hard to see, especially at indoor range.

I guess I'm used the green dots, but they look terrible. I may have to paint mine. Looks good.
