Shooting my friend's G17 the other day, I once again demonstrated my artistry in making guns jam in weird and confusing ways.

During a string of fire, I feel the slide ka-chunk into battery. Figuring, "What the hell, it's a Glock. What could go wrong?" I pulled the trigger and it went "click".

Casual range trip so I pulled the magazine instead of a ninja tap-rack-bang, and found that the top round was loose and nose-down in the magazine in front of the other rounds. Did not even know that was possible.

Yeah my friend bought the mags cheap at a gun show. Could be the problem.

Yea those seem to have some sort of spec problem. I got taken from a guy on here who said he was selling OEM mags and they are in deed after markets.. They run fine in my 17 but don't drop free. Mag body is actually .100 wider than a OEM mag..

Maybe it was a weak round that failed to rack the slide all the way back and therefore failing to chamber to next round

Glocks's suck. Just messing around. That is a weird way to jam can't say I've seen it before.

Curious
Could you recreate the nose dive in the mag by hand to see if the
Tap- Rack Flip would clear the malfunction????

Jam is for donuts and toast. That was a magazine malfunction. Run factory mags and service them as needed and you won't have issues with a Glock.

Having said that you can't shoot any of mine with your curse!
