Don't think so it has the outline for were the grip tape goes, there's one review that says the grips are a dark blue but that review was from 2009, maybe I should of tried to contact someone from cz customs, but was hoping to see pictures

I bought two sets black and red- of AL thin grips. The gun is NOW a dream to shoot.

I had two 75 SP-01s for over two years. One was a safe queen and the other a dedicated kadet .22.

The grips are AMAZING. My two Czs always goes to the range with me.

Google image CZ Al thin grips and you'll see the blue ones.

Never understood the fascination with these grips, but I have decently large hands. They make it feel like a oddly shaped poly grip to me.

I have big paws but sausage fingers, so this should help a little

Had them, looked great. But outside of visual appeal, it just didn't float my boat. Thankfully I still had the OEM rubber grips which are the best thing next to sliced bread.

The plastic grips on the other hand....yikes.

Sounds like you should buy her a cz so you don't have to mess with yours :)

Micronut why do you do that to me like that?

I have goo in my pantys now, thanks a lot.

I have only pulled the trigger on it, never fired it but it was the shortest cleanest trigger pull I have ever felt. I want BAD!!!

somebody had to, their single action triggers are the sweetest thing, almost as good as a 19/2011 type.. but good for what it is.

I like the aluminum ones but, basically what zfields said, I wasn't really the biggest fan of how the angles felt in my hand. I liked the VZ Grips and went with those, and then I found the Hogue G-10 Xtreme ones and really, really like them a whole heck of a lot.

Just made my SP-01 frame single action only and moved the Hogue grips over to it:

P.S. I have a Springfield EMP for sale (well, not actively for sale but I'd sell it if somebody wanted it) in 9mm just in case that might be right up her alley...

That's gonna be the next step trigger job, Sao trigger and comp hammer, after that's done I'll have a reason to mess with my new ruger new blackhawk I'm getting in a few weeks

Nice!

Even though I did the work myself, including tuning the hammer catches and such, and I'm very happy with the quality of the trigger, I'm going to ship the gun to David at Cajun Gun Works and have him put one of his competition hammers in it and tune this thing perfectly. He does GREAT work, and I'd highly recommend either buying his parts (like a hammer/sear kit) to install yourself or just sending your gun out to him. I'm so happy with my SP-01 right now, even compared to super high-end 1911's and such, that I've basically decided it's going to be my "pride-and-joy" and therefore I'm sending it to David so it's absolutely perfectly as good as it possibly can be.

Yeah I was cruising CGW web site the other day, if I get extra cash I'll be sending it out, I like to tinker but I'm not confident enough to do it myself

I have the aluminum ones on my SP-01. For some reason, wtih Mecgar aftermarket magazines, sometimes the magazine gets stuck going into the well. I have to loosed the grip screws to get it out. I'm not sure what that's all about. Only for my Mecgars, not the OEM 10 rounders. My solution will be to sand down some of the back of the grips.

I had a similar issue with a hogue grip. Either the grip screw or part of the grip at that area was deforming the flat spring into the magazine channel a bit. This caused the mags to bind up. Just had to put a little attention to the flat spring in that area while installing the screws and all was well.
