This was the greatest loading tool for my Ruger Hunter but lately it's not working worth a darn.
Any fixes on this? I tried adjusting it but it did nit seem to help.

They can get gummed-up with that bullet waxy lube stuff. Try cleaning it out real good on the inside.

Look on YouTube, the originator of the loader (McFadden) has a video on adjusting and lubing the loader.

Clean and spray inside with a silicone spray.

Clean and spray inside with a silicone spray.

That's a good idea. I use the DuPont Multi-Lube in the blue can for my motorcycle chains, garage door, etc. Works really well. You can get it at most Tru Value hardwares or at Lowe's. Of course it's Teflon not silicone but same result.

I'll try it on my clip loader too.

its pretty hard to clean right where you need to and i worry about sprays that may attack the plastic

Use the dry Rem Oil and you should be OK.

I sprayed a bit and mine is working fine.

Some ammo loads better than others. It seemed CCI branded ammo was sticking and all the others I tried worked well.

I spray a small amt of clp and shake it around with about 20 bullets i there, it helps it get into the lower channels.

They say to use soap and water but that was not strong enough for the waxy buildup on mine, I used Rem Oil and Q-Tips to scrub the goo out and even that was not the greatest. Next time I will I will try to find something stronger that does not hurt the plastic and I will try the silicone trick.
