I went to the range today to shoot my Sig 2022, .40 cal. for the first time. It was wonderful. Fed and ejected without issue. Trigger was smooth and the entire feel was incredible. I only shot about 100 rounds, 10 of Hornaday Critical Defense and rest was 185 TMJ reloads from Ammo Bros. This is my first hand gun. My groupings got smaller the more I shot.

I can't wait to go again.

Congrat's, it's my EDC. Yes, the 2022 is that good. Accurate and the smoothest trigger in da/sa.

Yes, I love mine. For the price it can't be beat.

It got me interested into Sig pistols - in the last three months I got four Sigs.

P220 45acp

I thought about this Sig for a ccw. They are very affordable. I went with the cz p01 for ccw, I'm looking at the Sig p220 for a hd 45, I just can't make up my mind between that and the hk 45...

2022...sits next to my Jennings POS, the other pistol in my safe I don't trust. I won't sell it because I don't push problem guns on to the next guy.

I have gathered that people either love this gun or hate it.

I love mine, shoot the hell out of it. I am in the "never had a problem" camp though.

I could probably give it a second chance, but I have so many pistols in the same caliber that there are enough in line ahead of the 2022 that I haven't had to pick it back up. It was just so rough in the beginning it kind of takes the taste out of your mouth.

I recently did an LMS course with my SP2022 chambered in .40 and loved it. My Glock 19 sits in the safe these days. If I ever get another handgun it would be a Sig.

2022 is a great piece just difficult to find accessories for it. I do enjoy mine though.

I have a SP2022 in .40S&W. I love it. It is accurate, light, and easy to handle. Keep a lookout in the marketplace. There are a few people that sell factory mags for $15. I have bought them and used them without any issues. The .40 mags will work in the 9mm. The only draw back is the mag will hold 12 rounds.;)

I bought 4 factory mags from a seller in the marketplace for $15 each, including tax and shipping. They all work flawlessly.

Yeah keep an eye out for the seller in the marketplace with sig pro mags. Technically theyre Sig Pro 2340 mags but they're the same ones used by the Sig Pro 2022... I purchased 6 of them total so now I have 7 mags. Probably going to get one in 9mm too.
