View Full Version : Fair / reasonable

I have a S&W model 66-2 2.5" that I am thinking of selling, what is a fair price to ask? I don't want to be outrageous as some people seem to be on gunbroker and some other sites, but I don't want to give it away either.
It was a user not a safe queen, it is in excellent shape not BNIB but not beat to hell either. Normal carbon scoring like most SS revolvers not bad but you can still see it if you look close. Don't have the original grips. There are a couple small scratches, can't see them unless you are really looking. Thanks for help in advance.

looks nice i say $300 would be fair but combat pawn may give you like $80

you will get $450 or more easy. short barrel 66 pre lock is not an easy find in CA.

The model 66 is sweet, if it was new it would probably fetch a bit of a premium, but not only is it used, you dont have original grips :(

I would have no problem paying $400 for it, $500 if it was a 4"

I think the going rate is about $650, more than that and it will linger, less than that and it will fly off the shelf.
