How often do people ask for complaints? Well I'd like to hear them since I can't decide on a 22lr rifle
-gsg-5
-10/22 in either ar style setup or the red jacket bullpup if I can wait for reviews
-ar in 22lr. I have an ar already so I could just buy an upper and eventually build another lower

Which do you dislike the most and why?

Go check out Umarex, the H&K 416 style is pretty nice.

My solution to such dilemmas is to just buy one of each. You can never have too many .22's

Sig522 reliable No problems 2000 rounds with all kinds of different bulk packs and it eats up everything mags are easy to come by and cheap.

Just buy a regular blued Ruger 10/22 and do the mods like a thumbhole stock, tactical soultions barrel, mod the trigger yourself and put a tactical solutions extended mag release + some nice optics. Then you will have a gun you'll never want to get rid of. The AR-15 is best in the 5.56 IMO. You can make the Ruger 10/22 much more accurate and who wants to change uppers all the time. Use one while the other cools off.

Tacitcal solutions also makes barrels for ar uppers. Is the inaccuracy going to be similar in the 10/22 and ar22 if you use their barrel on either one?

Why just 3 options?
If you want a "tactical 22", S&W M&P 15-22 is quite nice. You can buy an MOE version (http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product4_750001_750051_773502_-1_757786_757784_757784_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y) - the dealer will just sell it with a disassembled 25-rd magazine.

Which do I dislike the most out of your choices? The 10/22 in an AR style set-up. Why? The 10/22 as it sits out of the box has average accuracy and I personally think the AR stock looks stupid on it without standard capacity magazines (BX-25).

Which do I vote for? An M&P15-22.

Get the S&W or the 10/22. I rarely see any of that other stuff used in actual competition.

Sorry, voted too fast. I wanted to suggest a .22 dedicated upper but your question is which do you dislike. I selected .22 dedicated upper as what I think you should get.

So, I don't dislike any of your options but I vote to get the dedicated upper.

Wonder if anyone else made the same mistake? Might have an inaccurate poll on your hands.

I'm looking at these 3 options because I eliminated the mp 15-22 as well as the sig 522. Are they nice? Yes. But I'm trying to decide on which I like more and these 3 options is where I've become stuck
gsg5- I like the mp5. I'd buy then upgrade to have retractable stock and forward grip
10/22 - thinking about 2 designs- red jacket bullpup/convert airsoft p90 or use nordic components to make something of a mp5/ar hybrid
ar 22 upper - to go on my ar lower, and then eventually put together a lower, probably polymer

looking at cost, reliability, accuracy, and customization. I think if red jacket had released some of the p90 wanna bes this would be easier to decide. Part of me thinks it will be junk and break

I hope not. I tried making sure people saw the DISLIKE by putting it in caps.A lot of people voted against the dedicated upper

Sorry but I have to say this is a convoluted poll. As you can see most folks are posting what they recommend, not what they dislike. With only one choice to DISLIKE you are still stuck with a choice between two rifles. Better to ask which of the rifles would you recommend and why?

Just picked up my GSG522 SD. Got about 150 rounds thru it. So far, no issues at all. Mounted a Vortex SPARC on it. Very TactiCool.

I was hoping to get more negatives than positives to help me get down to 2 rifles then either make a decision or flip a coin

i personally like the 10/22 out of all those 3 because ive done multiple airsoft conversions. so when i get bored i can just interchange it into a different stock and have fun shooting it until i get bored again.

My 10/22 P90 conversion is in this thread
