Been looking for a new 9mm for awhile. Today I jailed a new CZ 75DB! I like the decocker that matches my Sig Sp2022.
Got it for $621 out the door.
This is my first CZ, so any recommendations would be helpful.

Break it in before mods.

Congrats on the CZ. I have had my CZ 75b for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. Shoot it a lot before you start modding it.

Break it in and get used to how it fires. Very minimal
Recoil. Are you a lefty or just got the bd for the sake of having a CZ?

what does the BD designate?

Decocker in lieu of the safety.

Bd means that it's an ambidextrous decocker

You won't regret that choice.

I just hope you still like the Sig, cuz' as soon as your girlfriend shoots the CZ she's probably going to claim it as hers.

Love all of my CZs. Shot acouple of thousand rounds in it first then start thinking about the springs or send it to Angus for some serious work.

I got the BD model because it matches the Sig Sp2022 we already have. Being mainly a home defense and range pistol, and seeing as we have no kids, I like just having a decocker and DA mode vs. external safety.

I'm super excited to shoot an all metal frame 9mm. Gonna be sooo smooth!

My wife already knows -It's Mine. All Mine! :D

I requested that my wife shoot at least 100 rds out of my CZ75B so she could be familiar with its operation. She now refers to it as her pistol.

My recommendation is let your wife shoot it so you can get another CZ.

This is actually great advice, let her take this one over and then get yourself an SP-01. (and tell her you don't like it)

Interesting. Now I need to find a place I can test one out.
