View Full Version : Best target grips for a 22/45?

I've been tinkering with my Ruger III 22/45 for a few months now ; got the Volquartsen trigger fitted, MkII bushing, slingshot mod done, added a Volquartsen muzzle comp and a Aimpoint H1 sight. Fun times.

I'm now looking to put a nice set of target grips on. I've got some 20 buck hogue 1911 grips on it at the moment , which are better that the standard grips , but I'm looking for something a bit bulkier and prettier. Happy to drop cash on the perfect grip to finish the pistol.

Any suggestions?

Is it an RP model? If not get in touch with kinghouse(?) over on rimfirecentral. Lots of pics of his nice clean work.

If they're standard 1911 type grips and you want something exotic, be sure to check out http://esmeralda.cc/

Personally I really like some of the Rosewood Picazo half checkerred with borders on my 1911's but everyone has different tastes.
