Would a ruger 22/45 lite be eligible for SSE if a comp was pinned and welded to the threaded barrel?

Would pinning and welding a 2" tac-sol comp onto the 4.4" barrel comply with the 6" min barrel length and the 10.5" AOL for the stock 8.5" AOL gun?

Besides making the magazine only hold 1 round what else would be required?

Looks like that would do it, according to the SSE sticky and the PC quoted in it. The gun has to be single shot, not the magazine. So you'd either have to disable the mag release and put a zero round mag in it or probably easier, block the magwell from accepting any magazine

If the gun meets the length requirements, you just need to make it single-shot at that point.

Edit to add: And yes, if the barrel has a device permanently attached to make it longer, then that is the new length of the barrel. This has been done with comps, flash hiders, fake suppressors, and other devices via welding, pinning, or whatever else qualifies as "permanent" (possibly Red Loctite, but don't quote me on that one).

Pop the grips off, screw a block into the well, and bam. No more multi-round capacity.

Thinking I need one of these as well... want to give Steel Challenge a try.
