My first Handgun is my Kimber, 2nd is my Glock 19. Finally had the time to break them both in today. Here is a short/lazy Range report.

Kimber TLE II 1911 .45
-Magazines = [2]CMC power Mags/[1]Stock Kimber 7rd
-Ammo = 200Rounds of Federal, 350Rounds of Winchester WB
-Installed Wilson Combat Shok Buffer, works great, takes a lot of wear and tear, but with the slide back you can't rack slide forward without holding down slide release. I may stop using the buffers, for now it fine.

-If I can recall on my second outing, had two FTF with weak Federal Champion, not really surprised. Hey you get what you pay for when it comes to ammo. Other than that, flawless in my book. Runs like a champ, rugged, Great comfy feel, love the weight, more accurate then I will ever be, awesome crisp trigger pull, I am Happy.

Glock 19 Gen3 9mm
-Magazines = [2]Stock 10 Rounders
-Ammo = 200Rounds of WWB

-No FTF/FTE. Very Comfy, Great Size, fits my hands perfectly. I must say I have to really get used to the trigger pull on Glocks as well as getting used to how light it is. This is the first time I've shot a Glock, it's only Two days old. I need more range time to get used to the stock sights.

All in all, I think I spoiled myself by getting the 1911 first. What a difference/luxury! Once my 30 days are up, I am looking into a .22 plinker maybe 22/45 Ruger or Mark III. I believe this will be my last Polymer Frame Pistol for a minute. It's personal preference but I think I will stick to steel handguns for now. I come to realize I like the weight since I only use my pistols for Range Guns/Home Defense.

Future Random Interest:
Ruger 22/45 or Mark III or Browning 1911 .22
Les Baer TRS or American Made 1911 9mm
Sig p226 Elite 9mm
CZ-75 SP-01 or P-01
S&W 686+ 3 inch

Thanks for your Patience/time.

Two great handguns. I have four 1911 now and have owned many more over the years. I never use buffers, always considered them a gimmick.

Congrats...A 1911 ruins it for all other guns.

Try polishing the feed ramp a little. I had the a couple ftf's with some federal jhp's but it's flawless now

Yeah, I cleaned my Kimber last night. I got rid of buffer, less variables the better. Simple.

Nice photos!
Thanks! I will try to upload a few of my glock in a minute.

So true, they just shoot so awesome and they feel so right in your hands. Already saving up for my next one!

Already did, I polished the Ramp on my First cleaning. Such a difference!
