In the market for a XD9 in Sac area. What shops have the best price maybe?
I looked at a few, Cordova Shooting Center and new Ammo shop off Bradshaw. and so far $450 seems the best. Thanks!!

I paid $500 for my XD-40. I could have done better, but it was an impluse buy so I was screwed either way, lol. There are plenty of good shops in Sac that you might give a call:

Sac Black Rifle (they will price match and also supported the fight against SB249 quite heavily)
Sportsmans Warehouse (where I got my XD-40, though I recall the XD-9s were cheaper)
River City Gun Exchange

^ Great price.
Definitely go with the essential, think they are usually at ~$420.

The 3 free magazine promotion hopefully will roll around again in late October, and that is the best value there (if you want to wait till then).

SBR had a deal for a XD9 or XD40 somewhere near the tune of $389 as a door buster on Black Friday around Thanksgiving time....if you can bare to wait that long.

A week or so ago both the XD9 and XD40 were $379 at Wild Sports in Orangevale. Did not come with the essentials package though.

I know it's not "local" but I put an XD 9 Essentials package on layaway at Buds last month and have sent the last payment a couple of days ago. It will cost me $494.18 OTD through my local FFL, that includes the tax and his $75 fee.

Call RCGE, worth a call anyway, Don and his crew are good to deal with from my experience, wish they were closer to me, so it would be easier to buy more from them!

call Golden State Tactical he is usually the same or cheaper than Davidson's online. No store front and he passes the savings on.

Rob at Golden State is great. River City has great prices on some things so it's worth a look if you want a stocking FFL.

Paid 399 online came out to about 473 all said and done though. That was for an XD .40 subcompact.

Just north of sac in a town called loomis there is a shop by the name of National Gun Supply where they have the essentials kit for 439.

If not there is go with Sac Black Rifle every day of the week!

theres a little pawn shop in south sac on stockton blvd, called buy sell & trade. they carried used and new guns there. i always find good deals there. decent selection on handguns, long guns, and ammos. i personally think sbr and rcge is bit average if the item u want is not on sale. also, xd9 always seems to go on sales. best to shop around or wait for a sale.

I gotta say check with river city gun exchange. If you get in at a good time they are one of the best gun shops in town.

Rcge has the 9 and 40 essentials package for $450 right now. I think that's a pretty good price.

Mine was $494 OTD from Buds through my local FFL. This RCGE price I think is a good deal.
Unfortunatley for me it would be 2 round trips of 230 miles to buy anything through them. When I move to Woodland fulltime though it's gonna be a different story! :D

I got my XD9 with holster, mag holders, for 479.99 plus tax and dros from TJNorths/Sutter surplus in Marysville in November of last year. Tom there quoted me 1599.98 for a M1A and speculated ~1750 for a Kriss Vector a while back as well. Nice guy there, I caught him as he was reopening his store/having a grandbaby so communication delays occurred.
