Yes, it's still two 10 round magazines.

I think you meant to say NO.

It is not illegal to have 2 10 round magazines coupled together. They are still only 10 round magazines.

Yeah, I read it as "is it legal" instead of "is it illegal".

Just sayin' what? He said magazines, he didn't call them clips. Apparently you managed to pay less attention than I did.

If you call a magazine a clip, then you should just say "gat" too.

Stripper clips were not included in pictures, so here goes:

SHESH --- I know the difference between a Magazine and a Clip. I said that this was my first "AR Style" rifle NOT my first firearm!

That being said, Is there a "CalGun Member" site to purchase Optics?

Not sure what you mean. Plenty of the advertisers at the top of the page sell optics.

Just trying to give CalGun members the business, if possible.

Okay, fair enough. I saw the "C" word and got excited, my apologies.

Perhaps the word "coupler" would have been more accurate.

Well the advertisers do support the website. Of course there are calgunners selling optics all the time in the private sales section of the marketplace.

Yes, coupler or clamp would have been a better term to use, but that's not the point.

The OP didn't call a magazine a clip.

WHO THE HELL stated that the OP did?!

'Twas a "blanket 'you'" as "OP, you", or a "Tahoe333" wasn't stated.

Grow up Merc, and try not to back-tread, reading between lines that are not even there. Put your big-girl panties on.

Did you miss the posts discussing clips and magazines? You managed to find my post and read it but ignored everything else?

The first clip in the image is a stripper clip, the 2nd is an en bloc clip, and the third is a couple of moon clips.

What are you going on about? Not every stripper clip looks like one for an AR. Here's one for a mosin nagant as an example:
http://www.gungarage.com/mosin-clips-china.jpg

So why tell the guy he should refer to guns as "gats"?

Quite enough of this, folks.

OP has his answer - yes, two (or more) distinct mags fastened together is legal.
