Where do you guys buy 22LR ammo from ? My local range is selling me 100rd CCI mini-mag for $7.50. Anyone knows any website has better deal than that? Doesn't have to be CCI, I just want the CHEAPEST 22LR for daily practice.

Here are some places. Which one has better prices changes, you need to keep checking back from time to time. Don't forget to take the shipping costs into account.

I buy from Palmetto or any online retailer ONLY when they have free shipping. Otherwise, the cost of shipping will generally exceed what you're paying local, depending on how much you're buying.

Interesting - I've had them refuse ship to Sacramento.

Targetsportsusa.com, free shipping on cases of ammo. So far the best I've found.

Sacramento doesn't allow ammo to be shipped to your door within Sacramento city limits. But I'm sure you know somebody in Elk Grove.

Not true - have plenty of vendors that do without issue. But some will not.

I shoot CCI Minimags mostly and Brownell's has them for $5.99 per 100 pack. They are, however, back ordered til October. But they are also running a special, $10 off $100, or $20 off $200, or $30 off $300. I placed an order for 50 boxes ($299.50). Throw in $12.50 S/H and minus the $30 = ~$5.66 per box of 100. In the meantime, I swing by Walmart as often as I can, where the Minimags sell for $6.77 per box of 100.

If you are looking to buy a little bulk, Sportsmans Warehouse is doing a $20 off code for purchases over $100 - online only. You can stock up on your favourite ammo for $20 off. Coupon code is "20SALE"

That should make up for something in their overpriced store.

sportsmansguide won't deliver to my address and I don't feel like arguing with them.

I ended up ordering a case of .22 LR federal bulk from cabelas with $5 shipping. I think it was 4 boxes of 525 in an ammo can for $82. Not spectacular but I'll take it.

The other good company that I didn't already see listed is sgammo.com

Sportsman's Guide and Cheaper Than Dirt are two places you SHOULD NOT order from. They have done more to keep legal firearms and firearms related products out of California than the Brady Camp could ever dream of doing. Please, do not support either company. Besides that, their prices may look cheaper but, their shipping prices make up the difference.
