Trying to rip you off?
I'm pretty sure I told you I didn't want to part it out more than once. If you don't like my price, move on.

i'm not trying to accuse you of trying to rip me off. (this is why i kept you anonymous.) its just the harsh words i tend to use. i got a lot more feed back from 1911forum and they say its not worth more than $150. i just dropped a ton of money into my first 1911 last week and i'm trying to recover.

One response said $150, and in my opinion, that doesn't amount to squat. Obviously, that's what that particular poster would be willing to pay.

If you need a Springfield slide, you'd be hard-pressed to source one, so I'd consider myself extremely fortunate to find one for sale. Buy it, send the complete pistol to Alchemy, and have Rob weld-up the frame rails and recut them to National Match specifications.

Thank me later.

too late seller bailed.

Really, can you blame him?

What do you have, a Springfield frame?

If I were you, I'd consider parting-out the top-end. You will probably net more than your own price-point. Better yet, forgive the OP for his blasphemous transgressions and give him the slide at the price you guys agreed upon.
