At $4 a shot, kinda pricey, but still cool. Wonder how it shoots?

Wow, I wonder how it is when you load them into the mag tube. Maybe have to chamber each round manually.

Keep a single barrel shotgun and 10 rounds of the El Camino killer in your squad car, and you can stop vehicles. I like it :D

I'd be curious to know how much less penetration it has vs a regular .50 cal ball out of something with the right barrel

Zeroed at 50 yards, you're 4.7" low at 100 yards but you have over a ton of energy out to 300 yards.

isn't this just a slug, when you come down to it?

I've got ammo boxes full of 12g slugs for $0.50 each... they don't look so cool, but 1200fps is 1200fps.

i wonder if it would be legal to use tracers

i thought there was an exemption for shotguns

That ball round tip against the primer of the next round would make me a little nervous.

"Finally police have a 12 gauge round they can use to stop a suspect's car dead in its tracks." Too bad police don't also have shotguns without tubular magazines.

Lots of crazy ammo on that site. Did anyone see the shells loaded with steel M855 cores? (Not the bullets, just steel penetrators that would be used to make them.)

Let me be clear, just in case someone thought I was rolling my own "creative" slugs...

There was a good sale a ways back on sgammo.com. I bought several flats of slugs made by... Rio? Centurian? One of those.

Because it's dumb?

By all means, enjoy overpaying for your copper-jacketed slugs.

It wouldbe fascinating to see the flight path of these things in slow motion. I'd bet at anything past 6 feet they don't hit point first.
