My .45 does not. It's also 60000 before yours on the serial #.

So, the newer ones have this on the slide? Mine has a date code of AE.

Just say no to HK

Buy American!

only because I have a PTR 91 and if it wasn't for the fact it beats the crap out of the cases and launches them 50 feet away? so I cant reload them,,,, i wouldn't have a problem with HK LOL!

I took the liberty of asking on HKpro. The link to my post is here (http://www.hkpro.com/forum/hk-handgun-talk/163817-h-k-usp-45-has-heckler-koch-engraved-slide.html)

thanks for the follow up. It's probably a random feature that HK makes. There's one on the marketplace that has the same date code as mine that doesn't have any roll mark on it.

This adds to the fun by enabling a competitive game of catch (or fetch), the person who catches the expended case gets to keep it!

My USP Compact .40 Stainless has a little emblem next to the HK engraving, meaning it was originally sold in Germany through some program for civilians. My P7M8 says "HK Sidearms" on the slide, which many earlier ones do not.
