Went in today and looked at it. Not too bad overall, but the eye relief is REALLY close, to the point that if you're at the range and you need to use the scope, you'll be taking off your eye protection, and that's never a good thing!

Yup $37 and change out the door. My first spotting scope at a decent price, so no complaints here.

Thanks OP!

Btw, it is the 20-60x60mm like this one:

I got one at the Fountain Valley store. These go for double, triple at other websites.

It will be my spare.

I know you get what you pay for but what are you guys using this for? At the range? For those who have this. What's the view at 100yrds

How does this compare to the Barska spotting scope in the same price range?

I was testing it out today and I'm a bit surprised at its quality. Not bad at all. The clarity is super good, I didnt do 100 yds but close to it and all I gotta say is, if you have the chance to buy it, buy it. No regrets here.

The biggest issue about these budget scopes are the eye relief, can you use the scope with safety glasses on?

ELIXIR

You can and you cant.. Depending on how well you can adjust to the eye relief. It most cases you will have to remove the safety glasses... A bit of patience is all you need.

Hey Guys, just picked this up today, Im able to use it with glasses on, but im glasses to eyepiece with it. However no regrets on the purchase. Frys in Burbank has about 8 more in stock as of today. For the price its a good entry level scope

I tested mine out this weekend. I will be returning it after work today. What a pos. I was able to see much better with binos. It was so dark I had to look up to the sky to see if clouds had just flown over.

I wasn't gonna open mine since it's just a spare but after reading Spelunker's posts, I decided to check it out.

It is actually very good and I have no problems seeing stuff using 20x thru 60x (Distance to ~70 yds). It is definitely a bargain at $35. The only nitpick I can give this scope is that the tripod does NOT have a horizontal lock but I do have a nice tripod from my other scopes already. :)
