Love mine, and it loves the cheap and expensive stuff, even tho .22 ammo isnt the expensive. I run Mini Mags,Federal and Blazer through mine with no hiccups. Gotta love the 500/525rd blazer bricks and accuracy is on par as well, I'd say pick one up. I've shot the colt m4 .22 version by umarex and glad I went with the 15-22.

It's a good reliable reasonably accurate 22 although not as practical as a 10/22. But if you want a low cost training analog for an AR15 or just a tacticool carbine it's a nice way to go. It's mostly plastic but well made. The sights are a bit too high for a 22 but it's an AR style rifle. The trigger sucks but again it's a real AR15 military style trigger and replaceable for $100-200. I bought one as a training analog for my AR15s and it's a good rifle but if I had to do it over again I'd just buy a 22 upper for one of my ARs. You could build your own for a couple of hundred more and have something that would accept a real AR15 upper.

My M&P15-22 with RRA 2-stage trigger, Magpul folding sights, and Weaver V-3 1-3x20 scope in a Burris QD P.E.P.R. mount.

You will love this rifle. My very first firearm. So much fun to shoot. I enjoy shooting it so much that I am north of 10,000 affordable rounds down the pipe.

My dad bought one so we can shoot a .22 rifle at the indoor range we go to. It is a great way to train someone an the ar-15 platform. When I go shooting my dad let's me take it so I can show my friends the proper techniques of using a rifle. It is pretty accurate for a .22 and since we do not own any ar's it was the closest thing to one.

Love mine. The groups tighten up real nice after a few rounds.

Check out the AR15-22 in the Magpul MOE version with the Flat Dark Earth color.

Local stores usually do not have them. I searched for months at numerous stores but never found one. I was able to find one on Gunbrokers.com within minutes. I called the seller and told him to keep the 26-round mag but just sell me the rifle at the same price which he was more than happy to do. My local FFL happily accepted the rifle since there is no mag involved. It was an easy way to get this rare rifle in KA.

They are great little guns. I run a 1x3 weaver like scholling. I had the barrel threaded and added a grip. Trigger improves after time. Not a good trigger just acceptable. The one thing this gun does is put the fun back into shooting.

are the 10/25 magazines they are a p.i.t.a. and they chew up your thumb. A solution is to buy a 25 round magazine and block it to 10 rounds or buy smith and wessons new short 10 round magazine but I have not tried the short 10 round one yet.

I own 4 of the 10 short round mags. I like them better than the 10 round long mag. They cost about the same, but the short ones don't get in the way when you are firing from a bench.

Hypothetically, say the pin on the long 10 round was 'accidentally' removed...does the magazine become illegal? Does the owner 'accidentally' get arrested? :chris:

one could permanently block the magazine to 10 rounds but if the magazine pin is removed that could be a problem. Though i have never heard some one being arrested for high capacity magazines when it was the only "crime" being commited. Plus it is a .22 rifle and not as scary as a bullet buttoned ar-15. The solution for me is to use gloves to load the 10/25 magazine or to put a plastic thimble on your thumb.

I love mine. Only problems I had are ammo related. (standard rim fire issues) Its a lot of fun and usually a favorite of all the people I bring to the range. If you can find the MOE version not what I got but wish I did. I got mine on sale at Big5. Turners often puts them on sale too. I have the 10/25 and short 10 round mags. I like the short 10s better but both work fine. My solution to the loading issue has been to keep a Swiss key in the range bag. I put this through the hole in the follower and pull it down as I load. This worked so well that I removed the follower pins from the 10 short mags. Get it and have fun.

I use a allen wrench to pull down the follower when loading the 10/25 rnd mags, but I end up using my 10rnd short mag the most

Trying to get rid of mine. I know I'll be sorry, tho. It's been great.

There is a hole underneath the follower - I just stick my car key though it to help when I load

I love mine. Thinking about a second one when I have extra cash.
