Need some help deciding on a new forearm and stock for my mossy 500. Not looking to break the bank but dont want cheap crap. Right now i have 200 into the shotgun with an 18.5in and 26in barrel. It has original wood furniture.

Thanks in advance or the recommendations!

Boyd's Gun Stocks (http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Replacement-Stocks-for-Mossberg-Rifles-and-Shotguns-s/107.htm)

I recently bought an American Plainsman set in walnut with laser engraved checkering and I am very happy with it.

You might also try here. (http://www.gun-parts.com/mossbergstocks/) The prices aren't horribly out of line and there are some interesting stock sets available.

Get the Hogue 12 inch LOP stock and forend. Great product. I'm actually selling mine because I just picked up a Benelli M2. I got a pic of it in the sales forum with the stock on. Just look unde my username.

Why are you looking for an adjustable?

If it is just an adjustable you want, I'd look at the Mesa Tactical LEO adapter (http://www.mesatactical.com/index.php?id=55). It will let you use an AR stock and tube, so you can easily adjust the LOP. It is a pistol grip however, which some folks don't like on the Mossberg (due to the safety location/personal preference).

I'm really happy with my Hogue setup (I have the "normal" full size LOP and the 12" LOP as well). I really like the rubberizing on the forearm and grip (it does not extend down the rest of the stock portion) plus the recoil pad is nice and squishy.
