Interesting anti-gun strategy to put this on the front page of the NYTimes website. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/15/business/a-kalashnikov-factory-in-russia-survives-on-sales-to-us-gun-owners.html?hp

Well, you know that it is written by antis, for antis to propagate anti-gun sentiment. It is almost fun to really break down the writers verbiage to see the subtle jabs he makes at us. Still makes me sick but there is some good that this story makes it clear BHO is the best gun salesman in history.

"Who needs a semi-automatic weapon in an urban concrete jungle? The days of the Wild West have long gone and people go to the supermarket to get food these days. You've got the government and military forces to protect you. You need to put your trust in your government to protect you like other nations do."

This comment blew me away. Where's the Not Sure if Serious pic?

Well, dammit, that's disappointing. I was kinda hoping, see all the build parties, that we would have been the biggest BUILDERS of russian guns.

Oh well.

There goes the Guinness record chances.

Somehow I doubt the NYT newsie who wrote this knows that you can legally build a rifle.

"However, gun control in Russia is less strict than in some other former Soviet countries. Estonia, for example, proscribes carrying a weapon while drunk. “If they did that here, well, nobody would hunt,” said Igor V. Anisimov, the Izhmash director of foreign sales. "

Lol nobody would hunt ;)

So how come there's a shortage of Saigas ? And where's the 7.56x54R version ?
Those russkies need to study at walmart about keeping up with demand.
