View Full Version : 22-6mm loads

Newbe--are there any folks that have load data for 22-6mm? I have Varget, IMR-4064 and IMR-3031. I have Hornady A-Max 52gr and HPBT bullets as well at 55gr bullets. Thus far, 43gr of Varget work well the first time but primer pockets are expanded such that Federal 210 primers will not seat and stay put. 55gr of IMR-4064 has the same issue.
So, are there any other loads that seem to work for the 22-6mm?

Welcome to Calguns! You'd have much better luck finding an answer to your question if you repost it to the "Ammo and Reloading" section of the forum found HERE (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/forumdisplay.php?f=89)

Welcome and good luck with your knowledge quest.
You can Google 22-6mm loads and use the data from AccurateReloading.com, ReloadersNest, Shootersforum, etc.
Or you can the starting loads for the 22 Middlestead (22-243) and work your way up. Since the 6mm case is slightly larger than the 243 case it will be on the conservative side of the pressure curve.

Welcome aboard! As has been pointed out, you're better served looking into appropriate subforums when you have a questions. Most folks here don't look into the "new here" area for Qs to A.
