I had intra family transfer but used the wrong form (4542A) instead... Regardless, it was approved and doesn't make too much of a difference per the DOJ person I spoke with via telephone. It took less than 20 days from the time I mailed and received the approval letter today. I would call DOJ directly as they are not 100% certain each time I called. Also, everyone's scenario is different. The weird thing is that that there were more typo's on the approval letter I got back today than what I posted above. Go FIGURE!!! TYPO's on a government document!!!!:43:

i just mailed me intra family transfer last week. waiting to hear back.

Best of luck to you... It took less than 20 days from mail to receiving approval... Best way is to watch your bank to see when they cash your $19 check, lol

Don't need to wait - you have done your part by dropping the completed form and a check in the mail.
