Hey guys, my dad just gave me this Browning Lightning, and am curious what its worth. I understand their value can vary wildly with condition, features and serial number so I'm hoping one of ya'll can shed some light with these photos. Thanks!

About $30. I'll take if off your hands for $60 out of kindness, though. ;)

This one (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=284068625) sold for $815 and looks to be in worse condition than yours. It seems a lot of people are asking $1100 on up for similar condition shotguns to yours, but not many people seem willing to pay. I'm not sure how well gunbroker serves as a gauge of value, though.

+1 on above.

That is a gorgeous piece of wood on that gun. What makes it worth even more is you can hand it down as well.

Beautiful gun, I'm in Coachella too so if you want $5 or something....

Just kidding (technically)

If it's passed down from your dad I'd say priceless. Hell I'd never sell my $300 Taurus .357 my mom bought me.

That shotgun is artwork.

That thing is gorgeous. It's a family heirloom. Keep it until your son/daughter is old enough to appreciate it.

That is a gorgeous shotgun you have there. Keep it and pass it on. Or, if not, sell it to me. :)

I paid 1K recently for a 2010 model lightning very lightly shot. The wood on mine is nice, but yours is very, very nice.

Has it been reblued?

Some of the markings look "light".
