I am working on some alumnum followers for the Remington 870 20ga, and I need to take some measurements. Please PM if you can help me out. First person gets a free orange anodized aluminum follower.

Why not call Remington and get the factory measurements?

If you ask exactly what measurements you want I can measure with my microliter for you and or other can post

I tried calling Remington one time to get a receiver measurement, and they told me they don't provide measurements for any of their products.

Yea that sounds about right. Doubt a gun shop would help any either.

What exact measurements are you looking for just the diameter of the inside of the tube?

I would offer to help but I only own a 12 guage

From what I gather all the Express models have dimpled magazien tubes regardless of gauge. The 12 gauge followers have grooves cut in them so they can get past the dimples.

This is one of mine:

I ordered a 20ga follower from Brownells for 870, and got this.

No grooves so now I need to see what follower they are using in the new Express 20ga models. Gun stores are not too happy when you start taking their guns apart.
