I guess I could have just asked this yesterday when I purchased my handgun, but is the one gun every 30 day restriction listed on the DOJ website only for handguns or does it extend to long-guns as well?

Handguns only.

You can also put multiple rifle ( long guns ) in the same DRO but you CAN'T put a hand gun and a long gun in the same DRO

It only applies to handguns from dealer stock, you can do as many PPT handguns and as many long guns as you want

No limit on used guns - pistols or long guns
(from a dealer or private party)

Limit 1 new pistol - 30 days

No Limit new long guns

You can actually purchase as many guns as you want at once. You can only DROS and take possession of one handgun per month.
