sold out in all the big online stores that I can find...

I'm glad the American people are getting into shooting in such a big way, but can't they leave something for me? :-)

Be glad you are not looking for a Colt 1903 in .32ACP. $250 for factory originals. IF you can find them...

One of the big mag dealers had a pile of them at the Ontario Show last weekend.

I just sold a pair to a friend of mine. I accidently bought them instead of MKIII magazines. I sold them to him for $10.00 for the pair.

You dont need any more mags other than the 2 Factory ones, get an Ultimate clip loader, then you reload in less than 2 seconds. Trust me, you dont need more mags, and rounds will fly by the bricks. Ebay have them for $20 free shipping.

First thing that comes to mind is Steel Challenge, 5 required, a couple spares are nice if you have to make another run :)

I see your location is in San Jose, where can you do that in the Bay? Been wanting to check it out.

Sorry, nothing official very close. Diablo has"steel challenge type" during the summer. Sacramento Valley Shooting Center and Motherload Pistol is the closest, then it's San Luis Obispo.

5 mags feels like a good round number, if only because I can load a whole box of 50 at one time

Federal bulk works, Remington, Blazer and Winchester don't.
