assuming this is a fixed mag, how do you load it and is the "fixed" situation reversible if I move out of state? thanks

It does not have a fix mag yet . The receiver at my FFL . It does not sell .I will add a longer hider and fill the stock to make it longer than 30 in .I thik it is 29.4 in now .

It does not have a fixed magazine yet.. so it's configured as an assault weapon?

As long as you have the receiver and stock are not put together than it is not .I don't think you could do a fix mag on this one .That is what I was told .

How do you get past the thumbhole stock?

this is a tough project to stay CA legal and shoot it here. You could always keep it apart and put it together when you go out of state.

I don't know what part of the FS2000 is the receiver, but as long as it is not the area that also contains the magazine well and pistol grip, then you're correct.

the "upper" is the serialed, DROSed portion of the firearm. good to go w/ filling the thumbhole all you want as long as it remains unassembled.

I would tack weld a sleeve over the flash hider to cover the holes and give you .6" extra length- probably the easiest way.

I think that one of the moderators has one and is working on a fixed mag, maybe he will catch this and fill you in.

Kind of cool the way the shells squirt out the little upper barrel.
