View Full Version : Float Tubes what to look 4

I'm going fly fishing for the 1st time everyone has float tube. I want to get one, what should I look for in a decent tube. I might use it once or twice a year.
I look forward to your sugestions.

I have owned alot of float tubes, my favorite and still have it is a Fish cat.

Fish Cat is one of the best. If you plan to keep tubing, just spend the money and get a Fish Cat. I use mine at least 50 - 75 times a year and it is going strong after 4 years. Plus the warranty with them is great. Get the backpack straps, it makes it real nice to walk in instead of carrying it by the handle.

Here is a rack my buddy came up with to hold 3 fly rods and a net on our Fish Cat 4's. This thing is the bomb for fly fishing.

It is held on to the tube with this pins and slots in the pvc pipe that fit over the d-rings on the side of the float tube.

I just bought a used once fish cat on CL for $120. Can't wait to try mine too
