Uhhhhh, welcome to Calguns. I think you may want to contact Goal Zero directly with this question. I had one of their Escape 150 kits, but returned it after it would not store a charge. The storage unit kept discharging without a load.
You might also repost your question is this Calguns section. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/forumdisplay.php?f=76

wow ! thanks everyone. ive never felt so welcome, you all made my night.
they ended up sending me another "head assembly" i had to take the unit apart and replace it.
well, after a week or so with the replacement on, i lost all digital readings on the display.
i was quite upset with the unit.... and myself for not simply asking for a,replacement unit
in the begining.
the new one has been up and running properly.
they were very helpful cool and understanding.
im glad it happened to me and not a bloody field hospital, realizing this....... that made me "concerned" they sell this product claiming its been tested, extensivly in all
when a company makes such claims and is marketing itself to the medical community in the mindset of, hey this product can save lives.............
i wish they would have thought that thru, prior to making it a selling point....
if i would have needed it for a c pap machine or something as such.
i would be dead
BUT.............. i like this unit alot and i am probably the 1 guy in 5000 that this type of "****" happens too lol i hope it lasts for years.
also ive bought every flashlight/light/nomad 7,guide 10, ect. this company has, and am happy with all of it
i will throw a question to all of ya
i have 4 boulder 300's on the tripod and i have never pulled in anything over 68watts in perfect sky and positioning of panels. i must add im running about 30ft of cable from the unit to thhe panels. i will be shortening that asap
thank you everyone ! (smiley face)
