Hi all, my first post here.
Just want to know if I stand a chance of getting my 2nd Amendment rights back? Never new I lost them until about 8 years ago and did not have funds to fight it. I have spent over 32 years in the military both active and reserve, qualified with M14, M16, 12 Ga, 45 auto & 9mm. Back in 2004 I was purchasing a pistol from a pawn shop and got popped on the background check. Prior to this (2000 & before) I had purchased a few WWI & WWII rifles from Sporting Goods stores with no trouble at all.
Years ago, back in 1978, a friend and myself had made two pipe bombs and set them off in a Wildlife park at night in Southern California, ruined two trash cans, no injuries. I was convicted of a Misdemeanor #12303.3, fined $172.00, one day in jail, my firearms rights were not revoked. I know currently this same offense carries a Felony conviction with a 3-6 year prison term. A year later I joined the military.
So, are my firearms rights finished?
