Everyone needs to go to this link so that they can vote for all of the articles, in the US News Debate Club, not just approve of Gene Hoffman's article....

The Antis have passed all of the pro-gun articles in the poll, with the exception of Gene’s. The anti gun articles all have an identical number of approval votes…

Go to this LINK (http://www.usnews.com/debate-club/does-the-colorado-shooting-prove-the-need-for-more-gun-control-laws) and vote!

Usually we do own these polls.

One of the comments on Dan Gross of the Brady Campaign's column taunted him for being at the bottom of the poll by a 10:1 ratio. After that comment, all of the antis moved up in the poll by an identical number, and the negitive votes for the pro gun column's increased by the same number.

And people wonder why I suggest the real value of polls on line is to get verified page views so the sites can sell advertising...

Librarian is right on the hit count for US News...

Lets bury the Anti's and give US News a reason to run more debates on gun rights...

There's an obamacare poll on there too. That one has the libs clearly in the lead. We could change that.

What does that have to do with the Second Amendment?

Lol we now own that poll... for what it's worth.

Lowest pro-gun is +577 points.
Highest anti-gun is -666 points.
Fitting.

Nothing directly. But it has to do with civil liberties and the gov overstepping their bounds which has everything to do with the second.

It seems so, they got their 350 - 400 votes cast, it was enough to skew the results, temporarily...

I believe the only reason they were able to accomplish this at all is that the original post on the article by Gene only included a link to that specific page, not the entire debate. At no time were the Antis able to reach first place, that was occupied by Gene, but they were able to push the other pro-gun authors to the bottom of the poll.

What I found impressive was that a call for action/votes at 8:00 on a Saturday night was met a response that reversed the anti gunners gains in a couple hours, and has now expanded to a 2,000 point spread.

The anti's efforts obviously started after someone had posted a comment on Dan Gross/Brady article commenting on them trailing by 10:1 ratio.

The antis never realized how good they had it before the web. Back then, they could have a monologue on how evil guns are. Now, every news article about guns or gun violence has pro-RKBA folk in the comments countering their arguments for all to see. And, like here, when something happens that should get a response from our side, we have HUGE forums w/tens of thousands of members ready to alert each other and rally to the fight.

Oh, and yes, I voted on the poll and yes the antis are ... :owned:

Thanks for posting this HowardW56. That certainly was easy! Also a thing to consider - you made one post on one gun site which is localized to one state (unless you posted elsewhere, I don't know), and we farking turned their phony little showdown upside down on them IN JUST A FEW HOURS.

If anything, let's try to use these data points to analyze their actions and interpolate out a rough number of shills currently under their employ :43::43::43::43:

ETA: Given the fact that (at this point in time - 1:06 AM July 30 2012) all pro-gun articles have about 320-330 downvotes and all anti-gun articles have about 320-330 upvotes.... I'm going to go ahead and estimate that the anti-gunners have 300-ish shills. hahahah! btw, how much of Josh Sugarmann's life do you suppose is spent creating duplicate accounts on news sites and commenting on them?

Here's the thinig though. People often speak of "debating" the topic. But hte debate usually ends up being "We (antis) want more laws on guns for safety's sake." and when we coutner with facts they ignore it and write the gun enthusiasts off (cause we're all a bunch of gun crazy whack jobs).

All polls are fake or skewed! :)

The only reason I even bother to participate is because if I don't then I always end up reading later about '90% of blah blah blah' in some unrelated article.

Just an FYI to y'all,

You can vote once for each article A DAY!

I've already voted for Gene's article 3 times and fellow pro-gunners!

I also downvoted the antis at least 3 times now :43:

Keep coming back every day!

You vote more than once a day, a simple trick is to use a different browser. You also use a different device. The poll is cookie based so you could clear your cookies and vote again and again......

Wait... what if the Antis use this against us and accuse us of stacking the votes?!

It's still "valid" since all sides always stack these votes.
