Anyone ever hunted up above Mammoth Lakes? I was just in Mammoth and traveled up to Bodie for some touring, and saw a TON of awesome spots up the 395. Anyone know of good areas for coyote or bobcat? Where is it legal to hunt up there?

Try the Owens River Rd. just north of the Crestview reststop[1/4 mile?]. It takes you past Big Springs campground, Owens River Ranch and a couple of other ranches on your left, but open on right side. Just check for any new postings. This road is very good and takes you all the way back to Benton Crossing Rd. above Crowley Lake. There is a LOT of wide open country to look over. Well worth the drive. You are going to love it!
A bit further up north on 395, just past the north entry of June Lake Loop, look at that area just past that on the west side. Very good area indeed.
If you need more spots, let me know. Have Fun!

Tons of BLM/NF land on either side of 395, just get a map and start calling for yotes. They are everywhere.
