Other info: For sale or trade is a Ruger Ranch Rifle (Mini 14) chambered for the usual 223/5.56. It is a 187-series customized by Accuracy Systems, Inc. (Aurora, CO) in 2010 with their Conservative Barrel package, which included a 18.5" 4140 steel 0.625" diameter barrel with a 1x9 twist and 11-degree target crown, three-point steel pillar bedding, 3.5lb. trigger job, shock buffer, and extra power recoil spring. For more info see http://www.ruger-mini-14-firearms.com/ruger_mini_prices.php

They charge just under $600 for this package and guarantee it to shoot 1.75 MOA. This particular rifle was verified by them to shoot < 1 MOA (0.945") using Hornady 55gr V-Max --see the last picture in the second post below. It comes with or without the Weaver Classic 2-10X38 scope, one 5-round mag, one 10-round mag, and the sling. I may also have six 20-round rebuild parts kits for it (included, if I still have them), if you are interested.

I obtained this accurate Mini 14 on trade from a fellow Calgunner and I have only had it out once since then. I put three, quick, 5-shot sets through it in the wind (Burro Cyn in the afternoon) and the groups were 2.5-3" at about 90 yards with one or two fliers using cheap PMC ammo. I bought some Black Hills (52gr and 68gr) and HPR (60 gr V-Max) for it, but have not had any opportunities to shoot them, so I now prefer to sell or trade it away for something I can use more often.

I will sell the rifle and mags alone for $720, or with the scope for $840. I prefer local deals, but may ship it FFL to FFL for an adiitional $60 (my cost).

I may trade for some of the following, plus or minus cash:

Pistols (I like Walthers, Brownings, Springfields, Colts, Kahrs, and similar... maybe a CZ)
Savage 64 rifle in .22LR
Remington 597 rifle in .22LR
Other .22LR rifles ?
OWB Holster for 3" J-frame or 6" I-frame
OWB Holster for Walther P99
Original box for Colt 6" revolver (357 Magnum or similar)
9mm (Gold-Dots or FMJ only), .357 mag, or .38 spc factory ammo
Browning SA-22 scope mount and 1" rings

What series is this? 58X ?

Looks like 18x series. Honestly doesn't matter though since its already got a replaced heavy barrel (likely even heavier than 58x default) from ASI and the irons are removed.

I personally shot this rifle and it is a great gun. I can vouch for Single Point.
