It is becoming increasingly hard to reside where my elected representatives in no way represent me.

Sounds like we have a year to stockpile ammo?

Im guessing it'd be prudent to get the most popular calibers.. .45, .40, and 9mm. Does anyone know if .22LR is consider handgun ammo?

Its disconcerting how these outrageous and hair-brained bills seem to just fly through the legislature.
It's like these pols can't wait to stick it to gun owners as hard and fast as possible.

I'm hoping the governor will veto any anti-gun bills that make it
to his desk, but what happens the next time an anti-gun governor gets
elected? Seems like the anti-gun flood gates will open like under Davis.

I'm also appalled at the lack of gun owner involvement in the political
process here. Had a plumber over the other day and discovered he's
a gun enthusiast, shoots IDPA, reloads, etc. I mentioned the pending
anti-guns bills and he says he never heard of them and "doesn't really
follow politics". How can we retain what few rights we have left
when even gun enthusiasts don't care? Frustrated.

Don't any of you guy's ever READ these bills-22 rimfire is not considered handgun ammo-perhaps because so many rifles are chambered for it.It's in the text of the bill. We should do our best to stop these bills-and never vote for a Democrat. Rebember last years ammo serialization bill-it failed.Another dumb bill.

Just how I feel. It is amazing how something that can radically change the way of life for Californians just passes the assembly.

I talk to folks at work about some of the other bills that will effect them and they just have no idea what Sacramento is doing.

The one winner here is going to be UHaul. I can see the Calguns ammo group buy drive the Reno comming up.

Have to strongly disagree there. There are some Democrats in Sacramento that are VERY GOOD (better than some Republicans) on gun-rights and they vote with NRA 100% of the time.

So far this year, we have had 3 pro-gun bills passed UNANIMOUSLY out of the Assembly. (The anti bills have been passing by only ONE VOTE - a much easier margin to dfeat in the Senate or later.) Remember, the Republicans only hold 30% of the legislature - NRA can't pass anything without significant Democrat support (and they have been getting it).

So please vote for the Democrats NRA endorses, otherwise you are doing what the anti's want you to do.

Mike totally agree with voting for pro gun dems. I write to my representative saying I will work to ensure a democratic nominee from my district who can represent me in future. Threatning to work for a Republican nominee is an empty threat where I live.

One question. What pro gun bills have we seen this year? So far it looks like a big **** *****.

Where can I find out who voted for this bill? We have an election coming up and my representative is up for election and has called me almost daily. I think I may call her office and see what's up. See if she listened to my concerns.
