Does anyone know of any good Campsights that allow shooting onsite or have ranges nearby for my brothers bachelor party?

Go to nf or blm land and do not camp on a public paying campsite. Find a desolate site somewhere out in the sticks away from public dewlings roads hwys etc. Then u can shoot however u like. If you are unfamiliar with nf or blm lands or unfamiliar with driving up in the sierras, i suggest just campin at a public paid site and go to a range to shoot.

Get a NorCal topo map or something that shows public land segments. Pick one go there and just make a camp and shoot from your camp chair. Indian Balley reservoir is between I-5 and Clear Lake. Have been there a few times. There is cover by the river where you can find shade but then wander down to the water for a dip to cool off. Fun place to hang and there is most often not that many People there.

A bunch of guys out in the boonies for a bachelor party does not seem right.

Let me know where it is going to be so I can go in the opposite direction. Bachelor parties are often associated with a lot of alcohol and I don't like guns and alcohol.

Congratulations to your Brother

Remember, guns and beer don't mix too well. Moderation is key. And oh god, the banjos.

Northern California is the bay Area for us. Unlike dumb rednecks on you tube, we have brains and do not plan on mixing the two. shoot during day, sip whiskey by night.

This sounds like a trap designed to discover my usual spot....

While I won't reveal the location of MudCamp (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mj6Zu4NXNZs), I will suggest the Mendocino National Forest (http://www.fs.usda.gov/mendocino/). Camp either in a designated campground, or just drive around and find a nice spot to camp anywhere. Then find a good safe spot to go shooting (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=186457) and do it.

The problem with camping at Pislberry is it's becoming a spring-break-like rowdy party scene, with noisy drunk kids and the Sheriff's deputes regularly rolling through. Not my idea of a good time.

That's all sorts of bad. I do have to say though, there are A LOT of morons out there who would have fired this incendiary round and them tried to gtfo of dodge really quickly rather than calling 911 and admitting to dispatch what you had done. So props to them for at least owning their hugely moronic mistake
