I have been using the 115grain FMJ (listed as Flat Base) and it has an exposed lead base.

Does anyone know if the Win-124 grain FMJ has this same exposed lead base or is it fully enclosed? The Winchester P/N is WB9MC124.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

In before the truth: Probably exposed lead... to save on cost?

The magic 8-ball (google) says:
http://www.wholesalehunter.com/searchresult.asp?keywords=Reloading
"Bullet 9MM 124Gr FMJ Flat Base 100/Box"

Image search says:

http://www.richiespng.com/product-images/large/acu_WB9MC124.png

Horse's mouth says:
http://www.winchester.com/Products/components/bullets/centerfire-handgun/Pages/fmj-flat-base.aspx
http://www.winchester.com/SiteCollectionImages/products/components/FMJ.jpgHowever horse's mouth also shows same image for Hollow Base, sooo I assume 1st pic is Hollow, and second is flat.

I really wish that even the big MFRs of consumables would remove their head from their backside and actually put up pics of the product one is researching on their site!
(YES WINCHESTER, BERRY'S HAS THE CORRECT PICS OF THEIRS, NOW SHOW US YOURS!)

Thanks for the pictures.

I couldn't tell the difference from the Winchester site.
