It was a good day figured I would share the pictures of my turkey mount I got back yesterday and give a shout to my taxidermist.....Mack Cody of Cody's taxidermy in Winters, CA is the best I've seen that is reasonable.

Also, took a break from bowhunting deer and went out plugging for stripers and largemouth at a little secret spot they are somewhat landlocked....but the canals are open and they can get in and out but you have to walk or bike to the spot....boats can't get in. Caught 6 stripers from 22" to 36" and probably 30+ Largemouth biggest around 4 lbs. Here's some pictures of the bigger ones. All were C & R.

Mr. Cody does fine work. He is probably the best fish taxidermist in CA and conveniently loacted for you too.

HA HA I saw that mount when it was drying. I hunt and fish with Mack. He's a good freind of mine. He is one of the best in CA, that for sure!!

I'd like to know where's that canal?

north of Mexico, south of Oregon, West of Nevada......pictures are enough of a clue. I'm usually pretty loose lipped but this is one of those areas that can get over fished very quickly.

Darn-it I hate it when exif location data is stripped out ;)

lol I felt like I was pushing the bound asking about the mount, no way I'd ask where he caught those monsters.
