229 had to be a typo... I'd be shocked if they actually honer that price (and I'm a fan of Wideners)

I would not let that go. It wasnt your fault they messed up. I would have to fight that one.

Agreed. They should honor the advertised price.

Shortly after receiving the pricing error email I sent a reply suggesting they at least honor the price for those quick enough to place an order. If they reply and agree to honor it, I'm more than willing to split the case with someone local to share the savings.

I really don't need another 1k of ammo at this moment and prefer to put my money towards other projects. :)

^^^ that's awesome that they honored the price!!!

PM sent regarding splitting the order :)

*Edit... Oh, damn - I misread... in my haste I thought I read they agreed to honor the price... oh well - if they do honor, let me know in the PM...

Good luck ~

LOL I think you might have misread my post. IF they honor it I will be happy to split with you. If they don't, well, maybe we can split the SGAMMO deal haha.

A company makes a MISTAKE and would be LOSING money if they sold it to you at a mistype. You want them to honor a MISATAKE?? YOU know they would be losing money-seems like trying to steal money from a company that made an honest mistake.
If you write a check to pay your morgage and instead of writing $1000 on the check you write $10000 by MISTAKE and add an extra zero should they be able to keep the $10000 instead of the $1000

What happened to honest people???

^^^ while I agree that is was a mistake (and stated as much even before it was known) - I don't see how "honesty" has anything to do with what others have posted.

It's not dishonest to request a merchant to honor a price that they listed (mistake or not).

Having that been said, I don't expect that they will honor it. And I don't think that's a problem. But again - honesty has nothing to do with any of this.

It has nothing to do with being honest(not sure why you think it does). A posted price is a posted price. Ok here is a question, and this happened to me a few weeks ago. Dicks Sporting Goods ran an add in the paper for a Rem 700 Varmint .308 for $500 plus a $50 mail in rebate making it $450. I went and picked one up. The next day I called Remington and asked about the rebate and they said they had the wrong gun listed plus that sale ended over a month ago. So your saying it was wrong and I wasnt being honest when I went back to get $50 from Dicks Sporting Goods?????
Plus, if I write a check I would have to mess up twice because you have to write out the amount.....:D

I'll stop now. Good luck OP.
