I've read a few sources that say the CCI NATO primer and the CCI Magnum primers are basically the same thing.

Thoughts? (i.e. is this true, or just another internet myth?)

I generally buy the CCI Nato via mail order, but I find that I can get the CCI magnum primers locally.

Thanks
B.

I thought they are "NATO-spec?" In any case, most CCI primers have hard primer cups, which is very similar to those used in NATO ammo.

Now, both being equal, I don't know.

Here is the discussion on CCI site

If you are thinking #41 and #34. They use the CCI Mag load data.

I think he is asking about the #41 vs #450. From what experience I have with them they are similar but the #41 are brass colored.

They are similar in priming mix just as "SanDiegoDuner" stated different colors

Looks good to me. I'll grab some of those the next time I see them.
Thanks all.
