Hi,

Thank you for your worthless comments on 'Fox Sunday' with Chris Wallace.

Our 'military assault weapons' are NOT 'Weapons of War' as you quoted. They are semi-automatic weapons with 10 round MAGAZINES not 'clips', as you also quoted.

I have a question for you. Those bodyguards, that you must have, what do they carry? A stick? A knife? OR.....a firearm? What's good enough for you, isn't good enough for the 'peasants' of California? Let me bow my head, I forgot.

Anyways, whether you like it or not, I'm going to keep my 'Weapons of War' and I will defend myself and my family if it comes to that. Your excuse that "We only need to take military assault weapons off the streets' is lame and cheesy.

I think your time as a politician or whatever you are is done. You have only ruined our gun laws and your 'Assault Weapon Ban' did NOTHING to help this state. You have only given power to criminals and the like.

Thank you for your worthless service to the State of California.

Sincerely,

a gun owner of California

You neglected to note that Feinstein not only has an armed security detail herself to protect her and her family but she also held a California concealed weapons permit herself in the 1970s when she was threatened. I also read that she held a CCW as the mayor of San Francisco.

She is the ultimate hypocrite, elitist politician.

Folks,

I just saw the interview with DF and Chris Wallace. She definitely has the San Francisco attitude that Yee has towards gun owners. We as a group are seen as little better than ignorant little children that need to be protected from ourselves by big brother.
These people do not care about our rights unless in is free medical marijuana, being able to have lunch nude at a San Francisco restaurant, or making sure that blueberrys are a specific size. Our state is broken, the ideas that come from San Francisco are broken. Yee and Fineswine have their protective details, if they had their way we would have to register our clubs. Anyway, the fight goes on. A2

CC,

SOME Californians keep re-electing her not I and many of us here. As has been said, we have to adapt our tactics to those that were persecuted minorities in the past. If a particularly ****ty bill gets proposed, SB249, fight it, in the courts, and take it to the voting box. That is just the reality of the world we live in. If people want to feel hopeless, that is their problem. Thank God for Heller and McDonald. We would be REALLY screwed. A2

And yet Californians continue to re-elect her.

this...my friends...is THE PROBLEM... California will remain "Broken" until she and her ilk are removed from office...it's that simple.

even if republicans don't take over the legislature, there MUST be a balance; as it exists now...there is NOT...it's under the misguided democrats.

until a 'balance' is achieved, there will remain, in place, the lopsided legislation we have. :(

Way to go Senator Johnson . A sincere salute to you those who worked so hard for your candidacy.

Once again this nation looks at cali ,with disgust after witnessing A SENIOR SENATOR claim her ASSAULT BAN would have prevented this tradgedy .

A little history on Feinstein , she was the only panel memeber who thought Vicki Weaver deserved a bullet to the head from an FBI sniper. That's not what she said but words ,questions and actions were slanted toward a pass .

Don't waste your time or postage. She is not listening & does not care about you at all. In fact she would be happy if all gun owners would die, after they fully pay into the Social Security System, but before they receive any benefits. Does any rational gun owners think any of the gun grabbers like Feinswine care about you or anybody else. It's all a big ruse, they just want all citizens of all nations disarmed to further their Illuminati/NWO cause. Follow the money.

I sent a similar letter to DiFi some years back - I also called her out on the hypocrisy of her belief that she deserves a carry permit with way less firearms training/proficiency than I have and only a desire for self defense - but that "normal" people like me do not.

I got one of her "thanks but we'll just have to agree to disagree" form letters.

But she still needs to go. And a big thumbs up to her opponent for stating an obvious. Gun control would not have prevented what happend in Aurora, Co. We need to look to our families, friends community and educational system to reestablish morals and values in this country. Very well presented debate.

We are a statistically insignificant in this state as far as a voting bloc. We should persevere, but we are so outnumbered that I don't see a shift happening. We make up a few inches here and there but overall, we are just stemming the tide.

Liberals, democrats... monsters (http://savingtherepublic.com/blog/2012/04/monsters/) are responsible for all the mass killings in the US... eeek the shock how dare I make such a comment?

Well its called your (monsters) desire to systematically disarm the public, permitting killing fields for monsters who have no regard for human life or the LAWS you have passed to stop them.

I’m blaming anti-gun proponents for the Aurora CO shooting as well as Ft. Hood, Virginia Tech, Columbine etc etc. Concealed carry SAVES LIVES, this 71 year old (http://savingtherepublic.com/blog/2012/07/71-year-old-demonstrates-why-concealed-carry-is-a-game-changer-against-evil/) PROVED THAT just a few days before!!!

A firefight my a**.

Ill bet everyone here and 99% of responsible gun owners would have responded in this manner:
- Upon the onset of the shooter you would have taken cover drawing your weapon as chaos ensured
- You would have then screamed out "get down" "get out of the way" "take cover" then aiming your weapon at that SOB waiting for the right time to pull the trigger.

Its called preservation of life! No one here and none of the 99% of responsible gun owners who VALUE HUMAN LIFE would just draw their weapon and start firing into a crowded movie theater at will.

This comment by DiFi is one of the most irresponsible and DECEIVING comments Ive ever heard.

Here's my letter to Sen. Feinstein (not that it does any good, but hay...):

Dear Senator Feinstein,

Your comments on Fox News continue to demonstrate that tragedies such as the very recent one in Colorado are being used and abused by you and other certain elected lawmakers for the specific political agenda of more failed gun control. Because of this, I find it unfortunate that I must address your agenda during a time when the people of Colorado are grieving immensely for their very recent losses.

To address an example, Operation Fast & Furious was not a "botched operation", it was one which was carried out exactly the way it was planned, and when the damage was done, you used the resulting tragedy to make your case for more gun control by saying "see here, we need more gun control!.

Senator Feinstein, you are conducting yourself in the same exact way here, and it is insulting to the victims and families of this, and other senseless tragedies like it. It is also insulting to law-abiding and responsible civilian gun owners.

Further, it can be confidently predicted by not just myself, but many others who are law-abiding and responsible, that you will do this same thing after the next senseless tragedy, and dare I say that you might even be hoping for an even worse tragedy so that you can spend time in front of a camera making your case for civilian disarmament.

Your agenda is to disarm only the law-abiding, and accommodate ONLY the criminal class in the name of a failed political agenda.

Senator Feinstein, I might not sway your thinking, but I would still like to say that YOU MUST understand that attempting to sell political agendas that are proven failures do not serve to comfort victims of terrible tragedies like the one in Aurora on Friday, they only serve to weaken the substance and structure of this nation's resolve.

Senator Feinstein, we live in a nation of certain fundamental rights which are considered implicit in the concept of ordered liberty, and deeply rooted in the history and traditions of our country, but your political wish lists only serve to reverse the progress of such liberties.

Senator Feinstein, Please... TEAR DOWN YOUR FAILED AGENDA!

Sincerely,
[Window_Seat]

Feinstein holds big lead over GOP rival Emken in Field Poll

Republican hopeful Elizabeth Emken faces a steep climb in her bid to unseat Democratic U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, according to a new Field Poll.

Feinstein led Emken by 19 points in the poll's first matchup of the two Nov. 6 rivals, leading 51 percent to 32 percent among likely voters.

Emken won the chance to challenge Feinstein in the general election by securing the second-place spot in a 24-way primary on June 5 that featured candidates of all political leanings. Her candidacy was helped by an endorsement from the California Republican Party and a low-cost outreach strategy that relied heavily on social media and talk radio interviews.

But those efforts haven't significantly raised her profile among Californians planning to head to the polls Nov. 6. Nearly two-thirds of likely voters surveyed by Field currently have no opinion of the Danville Republican, a former executive at a nonprofit that advocates for children with autism. Of those who do, 22 percent view Emken favorably and 13 percent hold an unfavorable view.

"There's a lot of work to do for her side to get herself known to voters," said Field Poll Director Mark DiCamillo.

I have to lie to myself everyday! I keep thinking this madness will all just go away and we will have our guns and be done with it. I came to realize there are only 3 ways that will happen.
1. Massive earthquake destroying the state...
2. State declares bankruptcy ...
3. 2nd U.S. Civil War...

In these situations only those who are prepared will survive...

I vote for #1. It won't destroy the state but it could or will destroy either LA, San Diego or San Francisco. I've already lived through all of the bigger ones since the early 60s but nothing has been over, what, 6.4 or 6.9 here? When a Japan or Alaska level quake hits here, it's going to get ugly really fast.

Heck, the Northridge quake in 94, my wife was pregnant, we had some damage here but more importantly, I got a little preview of how people are going to act when the big one hits and the reality of survival hits the unprepared masses. It was even scary here for a couple of days in 94, people were looting stores, stealing gas, running through intersections. Imagine that time 10, not going to be good. Those of us who can defend ourselves will be on top of the pile for sure.

Folks, lifelong Californian here. Sorry, but our current political system in this state is not going to be fixed because the majority of voters here are mislead sheeple who will continue to vote the ultra-left socialist agenda. Not going to change in our lifetimes.

We are a statistically insignificant in this state as far as a voting bloc. We should persevere, but we are so outnumbered that I don't see a shift happening. We make up a few inches here and there but overall, we are just stemming the tide.

The example listed below is just one of the many reasons why the above posting is too true.
I recently visited a former classmate of mine, who went on to attend a very liberal Kalifornia university, located in a very liberal town. During different points in our conversations he said: 1) I try to stay away from FOX [News], 2) I voted for Obama before, and I'm going to vote for him again, 3) I don't own any guns yet, but I have been looking into getting a Glock handgun, 4) I also want to get a rifle.

I gently explained to him that supporting the Liberal Progressive agenda through its political candidates put his first two statements in direct opposition to his desires expressed in his last two statements. Despite the overwhelming quantitative evidence that I presented him with, showing that liberal politicians in this country have a long history of attacking our 2nd A rights, he refused to be objective. He repeatedly rejected every point that I made based upon some poorly-defined qualitative 'feeling'.
Apparently, he seems to believe that he can support a freedom-repressing political agenda, while at the same time retaining his individual freedoms.

I believe it was in Jonah Goldberg's book, Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, from Mussolini to the Politics of Change, that I read something to the effect that; Liberals are motivated by emotion, not intellectual evaluation. They value action above all else, seeking change [from the status quo] for the sake of change. They act based upon their feelings, without contemplating the consequences. (paraphased)

Ran into her and her entourage at the range in San Rafael several years ago...She was there doing the qual for her CCW renewal. Freaking hypocrite!

That is correct she is the world's best hipocrite. The elitists are above the common man. Only they are smart enough and possess the common sense required to carry a concealed weapon. I would like to see her in a fire line, I bet I handle my weapons with a higher level of dexterity and confidence.
