I just got a 1911 with a magwell, but the grips on it are from a non-magwell gun and I was wondering if anyone has some spares they would be willing to donate or sell for real cheap. Plastic or wood or whatever is okay.

Anyone out there got some?

Thanks. Atlas

I'm not sure what a 1911 with a magwell is... is it different from a USGI setup?

Here's like 7 sets cheap on this hougue auction site page. They just aren't checkered. If you scroll down it says magwell. If you click on the picture you can see a bigger version. http://www.hogueauction.com/browse.php?id=95&page=1&PHPAUCTIONXL_SESSION=6d7542533de113ab6ef1dc59bc057 144 Mark

Yeah, you have the tapered bottom and need the flat bottom to fit flush with the mag well. Good luck with the search (as options for 1911 grips are pretty much endless!).
