I'm pretty sure the reloads have no sales tax (they eat it) so yeah the man can is tempting...the fiocci 223 isn't bad but after tax isn't great vs some of the other online deals....
FYI, get there early or get ready for a near riot....it gets out of hand quickly and I've only been to a couple of these.

Sales tax is usually charged at these events

Previously I've only bought 22 and 556/223 at these things and they charged tax. Usually in the shop they don't charge tax on reloads >100 rd purchases, but I can see how they would with reduced prices at this. Hmmm not quite as appealing with an extra 8%

even less appealing at the actual 8.75% - tempting (for the Fiocchi .223 and Win 40 S&W JHP) - but not tempting enough to warrant the drive/hassle (no sales tax might change my mind - but with tax = forget it).

I bought some reloads from LAX and they DID charge me sales tax with a cash sale.
Never heard of them NOT charging tax before??

They typically don't charge tax on reloads - I've never bought during the parking lot sale but I have bought at normal price and sale price (no tax)... I've also bought at gun show but don't remember if they charged tax there.

this is what i sent him:
> I've heard that reloads in store over 100 rds have the tax included in
> the price. I was wondering if this is the same for the reloads at the
> parking lot sale?

this was his response:

No the computers we have set up for the show are a different set up. Nonetheless it's not going to make a difference because our parking lot sale prices are the lowest anywhere on about 90 percent plus of the stuff we sell. The reloads are even lower than the prices we charge at the gun shows we do

Bought reloads from them b4 on parking sales like this - they charged sales tax. But their reloads are top notch (9 and 45).

Wish they posted prices on the .40 S&W and .45 ACP reloads as well.

Would also be great if we got some clarification on the sales tax thing. I bought 4k rounds from them at Ontario Gun Show and the did charge sales tax on it (I still have my receipt).

Wasted my time driving down there for 9mm. I sent them an email 3 days ago asking about the price of 9mm 1000 rounds reloaded with no responce. I called them yesterday and asked about the price again and was told it was going to be as good as there gun show prices. NOT. AT the gun show I paid $150 for 1000 9mm reloads. Today they were selling for $170. At $170 PLUS tax you are BETTER off buying 9mm FACTORY from Palmetto State Armory for $209.80 shipped FREE to your door.
