I was just curious how the mags fed the .30-06, I've read conflicting stories that you can have some feeding problems. I heard the mags worked better with the .300WIN due to the larger case.

I've been wanting to so the same thing to my hunting rifle, hopefully some time soon.

It's looks like a beast but it's actually really well balanced, haven't weighed it but it's feels under 9lbs with optics, the bipod is just for show, that wont be going into the field.

In response to the mag and a 30-06 round you just have to bend mag lips in a bit to hold the slimmer case.

Nice rifle, but how much does that beast weigh? That does not look like a lot of fun to be carrying around on a 2 or 3 day hike in the hills. Just curious what that sucker is setting you back too?

Nice rifle!

What bipod is that, Harris? Rail mount?

Looks like a harris with claw feet. maybe 9-13" Not sure where the feet came from.

Lets just say cost was in the custom shop range. The bipod is a harris 6_9 notched legs swivel, with Pheonix tactical pod claws, your bi pod will not sink in sift dirt with it.
