Some one was selling powder between the two buildings... $19.95 for a pound of IMR 4064. I paid $22.75 at the Angeles Reloading Shop.:banghead:

:chris:Cold War Shooters had Noveske lowers on the table for $119.95!!! I should have just waited for the show; I would have saved about $20 for beef jerky.:banghead:

For those of you who are concerned with the $12 entry fee... if you join the NRA as a new member right outside the show, you get $10 off the annual membership fee, free admission into the show, and a NRA ball cap.

I made it there myself... Same 'ol show. Same ol' stuff. Although I was looking for either a GI Spec 1911, or a Plinker .22LR pistol of some sort and I was disappointed to see VERY few pistols around in all 4 halls. I would say about the same amount of "cowboy" older revolvers etc...but nothing really in the newer makes.

BUT....

CWS did have POF .308 lowers, and a some nice uppers. Couldn't resist, so I bought the whole package w/ DPMS 20" upper. Now I'm a happy camper.

And, Ade's happened to have a Sig Mosquito for a good price so I snapped that up to.

Now 10 days needs to hurry up and go by.

My black return stamp washed off my arm so I have to do some quick talking when I go back tomorrow. Piked up my CMMG upper from CWS and admired the SAIGAS. Best deal going. I'm torn between the .308 and the 7.62 but the 16" are snappy little carbines. Got a Russian wood ammo crate with cyrillic lettering for my kids crayon box. Raise em right I say.

I broke down and bought a US optics SN4 to put on my AR10 leonidas clone.

Yes I bought to handguns and my ffl told me I need to do a dros for each gun. Since I can't officially buy a handgun but once a month, I have to do 3 dros, one for each handgun and then one for the Saiga. Take about 1 month and a half.

I'm broke for the next 2 months so all I could pick up was some shotgun rounds for when the zombies come. I also got Gerber knife I had been thinking of buying and I found it for half of what it cost brand new.

I wish I had the money for one of those Saiga rifles. I'm absolutely picking one up next gun show but I am kind of torn between the .308 and the 7.62.

Huh? Why not dros the Saiga now? Unless you mean you can't afford two dros charges at the same time - one for longgun and one for handgun. There's no quantity limit on rifles and they are not combined in the 1/30 limit for handguns.

I went and got a bullet button, 3 magpul rail covers, 2 shirts that say "Ban illegal aliens and not guns." I also was one of the suckers that bought a $7 beer!

I guess I can dros the saiga right now, but I was under the impression I could not have two dros at the same time. Good to know though.

Ya I saw the Sock Guy too, very funny!!:D

Its part of the left wing conspiracy.....

....they are all trying to get us hill billy barefoot gunowners to get civilized by first getting us to wear socks by flooding the gun/beef jerkey shows with them.

Before you know it we will all be wearing shoes and voting for a gun ban.:D
