I hope Im not beating a dead horse. A buddy at work told me about this today. I find it ironic Google is opening up information to the Chinese people and block US citizens from information.

YMMV -- google shopping just showed lots of results for 9mm ammo. Check and see if it's working for you. I've heard from other sources that they re-considered.

Here's the url I just hit:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&tbm=shop&q=9mm+ammo&oq=9&gs_l=products-cc.3.1.0l10.8339.8339.0.11597.1.1.0.0.0.0.104.104. 0j1.1.0...0.0.YWzt6OGmVvQ

I always find this stuff to be total bull stuff. You can still google some of the sickest porn around and stuff like the anarchist cookbook, white supremacists and terrorist crap and more. I don't see that if you can google that garbage they would turn around an censor something gun related that might not "be family safe". Even then so what if they did there are hundreds of search sites. I never just use google to search for any one thing or bit of info anyway.

my google can't even find anything related to Springfield,
I can't even have Springfield ice cream? :hide:

I agree with above, it's complete ridiculous that you can search terrorist associated websites but not firearms related items.

Maybe they just haven't fine tuned their filtering algorithms yet. I did a quick test with the following results:

357 magnum ammo -> results

357 magnum ammunition -> no results

357 ammo -> results

357 ammunition -> results

357 magnum -> no results

It looks like the Great Firewall of Newport Beach needs some work.

I stopped using google for search months ago because of highly ranked garbage. I've been pretty happy with http://duckduckgo.com/
