Long thread at TFL - apparently a DOS attack, third time in the last month if I have my dates right. The way TFL's hosting service responds is, it seems, to just turn off the IP address.

Later: I re-read the thread: I think the DOS packet traffic applies to the bandwidth Oleg and Co have to pay for, so rather than pay for being attacked, they chose to temporarily pull the plug. Some discussion on whether than can or should change hosting services, or whether they can afford it.
