You guys better get confirmation from "MR Twisted" just to be sure.If its true it sucks that he advertised this for so long only to find out that you cant take your .50 at the last minute.I guess they gotta cater to the Zumbo's that are going...

Turner's sent an email to me too saying that the .50 BMG and the Full auto MP5's will NOT be there. Oh well I guess that's money saved for more ammo.

.50's will be there, call EDM ARMS and ask them as they're bringing a few plus some other toys.

Turners newsletter on the web also states that the .50's and MP5's won't be there. I hope they just forgot to update that site.

Drama should be over now. The 50's will be at the Show as well as 1919's but as in all AW's the register owner must stay with the gun, under 18 and felons may not shoot the AW's. Capaciity will be limited to 10 rdsmax in all berms. and all the usual BS. And owners better have all there paper work in order or I can't use you. Turners still not happy I didn't cave in to DOJ or their request but we're in the right this time, so come out and support us.

Oh yes, Shooters be prepared to sign a affidavit that you are 18 or over, not a convicted Felon or have the kind of misdemeanors that procludes you for firing AW's.

Sorry HK full autos are still out. Btw don't expect the Turners Web site to be changed.

If your bringing me 50's for the show call me at the last minute (909) 214-2648 I've learned anything can happen at the last minute.

See you in 2 days.

Mr Twisted,
Can you elaborate a little more on what DOJ wanted to you do?You said something about you didnt cave into there request?Lemme guess they didnt want you to bring registered AW's to a gun shoot right?

I think people should be more upset with Turners wanting him to cave to the request!

Now I'm glad that I can't make it, F**K Turners!

Holy smoke 1919_4_ME;629920. Can you post a few pictures of the building site if you are in the area. Maybe I'll stop buy guns from Turners until ProBass opens up. Any ETA on an opening?

I haven't been by there lately to check on the progress, but their site says they'll be open in 2007. Can't wait. I was really impressed with the Bass Pro in Vegas, this one looks to be about the same.

As for its affect on Turners, that remains to be seen. Who knows, they could have worse customer service.

Oh man I remember when the Bass Pro Shop first opened in GA.
I loved that place.

05-31-2007, 12:27 PM
I'll be heading up that way on saturday and will take some spy photos for you guys. When I first saw it off the freeway before they put the sign on it I thought they were building another big mall.Few days later I saw the BASS PROS sign and said holy chit! :D

And they will have 10,000 square ft restaurant along with it. I can't remember which one right now. I want to say The Fishmarket but can't be sure.

I'll be taking a Hard Hat tour of the Bass Pro Shop location in Rancho on June 8th. I'll have a report on it posted shortly after.

I also saw the bass pro they are building up there and its freaking huge! I cant wait for it to open

If your ever in Vegas check out the Bass Pro shop there. Think two story Costco with just sporting goods. Inside they had about 30 bass/pontoon boats. I email'd them a few months back and they stated they were opening sometime June/July. The gun area was HUGE.

Here is a link on the Rancho Cucamunga Store:

OMG! I just returned from a visit to the Springfield, MS BassPro Shop. I seriously doubt that the one in RC will rival the size of the one in Springfield, but it will no doubt blow anything that SoCal has ever seen! All I can say is it was like an indoor mall for everything outdoors and then some (7 football fields in size under one roof). It also had a 4-story waterfall (with live pheasant, stuffed sheep, deer, elk, etc.), an ozark stream (with live fish, ducks, turtles, etc.), a carnival shooting gallery, 20,000 gal. saltwater aquarium, a huge fresh water aquarium with monster-sized catfish, bass, etc. I was completely blown away! I also hit the Cabella's in Kansas City, which was also mind boggling, but the forthcoming BPS will absolutely blow you away and drain your bank account at that! Now the bad part...BPS does not carry any military or tactical gear. Bummer!

I was gonna go for the full-auto MP5.... :(

Even if they have an MP5, I can only imagine the line of guys waiting to shoot it. Does it belong to Law enforcement?
