Howdy all,
I just got back from shooting my new Sig TTT 1911 for the first time. My impressions so far is very positive, though I only have about 100 rounds through it.
When I was shopping, my choices came down to the TTT, and the 1911R railed model. I decided on the TTT for it's adjustable low-profile night sights, and overall looks.

When I got to the range, I purchased one-hundred 230 grain FMJ reloads, and went to it. I shot mostly at 15 yards offhand, but shot two mags worth at 25 yards for kicks. Between the two factory magazines, a Mec-Gar magazine, and a Kimber Tac-Mag, there were no malfunctions. The trigger pull had some take-up, but was crisp and broke cleanly. The checkering on the front and back strap gave a very secure grip.
The only malfunction of the night came when I switched to PMC Starfire hollow points. I loaded 8+1, which I hadn't tried yet. The second round (first round out of the mag) failed to feed, hanging up on the feed ramp. I cleared that round, and the rest of the mag fed fine. I'm thinking that those cone-shaped PMC hollow points were the problem, but I'll have to shoot more types of ammo to be sure.
Apart from that malfunction, that was my best group of the night, a little under four inches across. I'm not a great handguns shot, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Overall, I'm very happy with the TTT, and look forward to shooting it more.
