For my brother in law to loan me.his gen 4 glocks? He.s from NV visiting here and wants me to keep two of his glocks. No magazines included. Again, he is not transferring just wants me to keep it safe.

Loaning requires a transfer and a fee and that stupid handgun safety card.

Couldn't he just be storing them in your safe? They still belong to him and he can pick them up whenever he likes.
Not loaning them to you....

I guess loaning was the wrong word. He is only keeping it in my safe, he is going through some personal issues.

He can't leave them with you in CA and go back to NV without transferring them to you at a CA FFL.
You and he could go shoot them in either state, no problem, but leaving them in a different state cannot be distinguished from an illegal interstate transfer.
And since they're Gen4, and off-Roster, FFL transfer in CA is not going to work. (If he were a CA resident, and somehow had legally obtained the Glocks, then it would work.)

what if he told you to keep a locked box in your safe without you knowing the contents

Just keep the damn things in your safe, shut up about it, and there ya go. Problem solved.

Not as a matter of policy at Calguns. We do not tolerate suggestions to perform illegal acts.
